لایم-سێرڤێی پڕۆژەیەکی سەرچاوەکراوەیە و بە زمانکۆڵەی PHP داڕێژراوە. یەکێکە لە نەرمەواڵە زیاتربەکارهاتووەکان لە بواری دروستکردنی ڕاپرسی زیرەک. واتا تەنها پریسار و وەڵام نییە، بەڵکو دەکرێت پرسیاری-گریمانیشی تێدا بگونجرێت. بۆ نموونە لە کاتی وەڵامدانەوە پرسیار بۆ ژنان جیاوازبێت لە پیاوان.
چیڕۆکی زیادکردنی سۆرانیش دەگەڕێتەوە بۆ خاتوو 'جۆوانا پێیتۆن'. هەر کەسێک کەمێک کاتی هەبوو دەتوانێت بەشداری بکات. بەتایبەت قوتابی زانکۆکانی کوردستان، بۆ دەستلێڕاهاتن.

Hello! I''m Joanne and I asked for the Kurdish package to be added to Limesurvey because I needed to use it for my research. But I also think this could be a very useful resource for a lot of people: it's a great way to get a survey distributed, and LimeSurvey provides all the features of some of the expensive paid survey packages, and since the output can be read in SPSS/PASW statistics it would be very useful for all kinds of academics. Thank you everyone who has translated a string! My opinion is that the priority should be translating the 'user-facing' strings: it's more likely that the survey designer will be able to cope with an interface in English or Arabic than the users. I have a list of 'user-facing' strings from my own work which are hopefully getting done right now, but I think it would be useful if I take a look through these and come up with some kind of priorities so that the user-facing strings which are most likely to be needed are those which get done first. I can't speak one word of Kurdish so apologies for the English. I'm out today but I'll investigate this a bit further tonight. Happy 2013 and thanks again.
Hi again. I just made a survey with no content to work out the user-facing strings across all question categories and I'm attaching that here: it also contains the navigation phrases used in that. Also (I hope you don't find this is too cheeky) I've added the list of terms which are my personal priorities: ie those terms that appear in my own survey. Thanks Hardy, that's very kind of you to say so. I just wanted to let everyone on this thread know that, although Kurdish was included in the latest build, there's now a bug developed that stops you from adding languages, so if like me, you've created a survey in English, and you wanted to add a Kurdish translation (or any other language for that matter) you get a database error. I brought this up in the forums, and here's the details of what you'd have to mod - https://github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/commit/829ddbe1fe1d70acfabd5c4c377351c61b844272.
Limesurvey is a good, simple and powerful peice of survey software which could be useful for many purposes, like market or government research as well as for academics so again, thanks to everyone who helped get it to 8%, and to anyone who wants to push it further!
